Ackcio

Wireless Remote Monitoring Communication System

VISION

Ackcio remote monitoring provides automated monitoring systems with a design best suited to industrial sites and infrastructure projects. Unique technology enables underground and above ground monitoring, covering mining, tunnels, building and infrastructure projects, just to name a few.

Re-usable, self-configurable, integratable!

Ackcio gateways are supplied with snape software installed, enabling configuration, project creation, API, FTP and network connection, node connection, UoM conversion, location settings, remote access and much more.

For many smaller projects, the snape software removes the need for 3rd party software connection. Remote gateway access, internal data storage and project management gives you complete control of your monitoring system.

Ackcio wireless remote communication system provides the best of both long range point-to-point over ground, and mesh connected underground / indoor communication ensuring sensor data reaches the onsite gateway however challenging the environment is.

Where line of sight is severely impaired in tunnels, mines or inside structures, additional relay nodes can be installed to carry the data to a gateway.

The Ackcio system will find the best route to communicate data whether this is directly to the gateway (over 1km range) or relaying data via other nodes.

What sensors can be connected to Ackcio

Ackcio nodes can be used to remotely communicate readings from a wide range of geotechnical, environmental and structural sensors. Any low power sensor with a relatively short warm-up time and a compatible data output can be integrated with Ackcio nodes.

  • 4-20mA

  • 0-5V

  • 0-10V

  • Vibrating Wire

  • RS-232*

  • RS-435*

  • SDI-12

The Ackcio sensor nodes can supply 5v, 12v or 24v power supply to a connected sensor and the configurable warm-up time gives greater flexibility to support sensors that require a delay before readings are taken.

*RS-232 & RS-485 integration requires configuration by Ackcio's technical team if not previously completed. Alternatively, if the sensors output can be configured to match and existing integration, this can be used to communicate data.
