VISION
Flood management deals with many challenges ranging from predicting flood hazards, endangerment encompassing various subsequential events, direct and indirect effects of societal repercussions, to instruments for risk reduction. With the development of tailor-made devices for monitoring floods, Geolux addresses the economic and ecological vulnerability, infrastructure vulnerability, and people as consequences of the flood hazards.
RSS-2-300WL Flow Meter
The Geolux RSS-2-300WL has an integrated radar surface velocity and level meter for contactless measurements of surface flow velocity and water level. Contactless radar technology enables quick and simple sensor installation above the water surface with minimum maintenance. Calculation of the total flow discharge is internally implemented within the instrument by combining surface velocity measurement, water level measurement, and a configured cross-section of the river or channel. Defining the measurement parameters such as profile cross-section, material of the edges, location of the sensor above the water, and all other instrument settings can be easily set with the Geolux configuration application using any available communication interface.

Can I integrate Geolux Sensors with wireless remote monitoring systems
Yes!
We already have experience of integrating Geolux sensors into wireless remote monitoring systems like Ackcio. When integrated with a static monitoring system, only periodic measurements can be taken.
To capture dynamic data readings, we are able integrate Geolux sensors with our onsite sensor CommsBox which can provide readings up to 40x per second and send the data readings to any FTP server.
FTP data transfer requires server details to be configured on the remote CommsBox
